Read the choices below to decide what activities you would like to complete. You must choose THREE activities (1 vocabulary and 2 spelling activities). Spelling and Vocab Contracts are due on ______and no later! Please circle the three activities that you are going to complete this week. Staple the three activities and turn them in together.

Lights, Camera Action
Find an adult and act out each of your vocabulary words or give them clues for each word. See if they can guess which word you are acting out (be nice and give them a list).

Writing on a Fun Surface
Write your spelling words two times on something other than paper. For example you could use a piece of wood, a piece of foil, a box, or any other fun surface you can think of. You can either bring in the item that you wrote on or take a picture and email it to Mrs. Book or Mrs. Blouch. / Pyramid Writing

Spelling Pattern
Find 10 words that have the spelling pattern of the week. Write them down in a list and bring them in to show your teacher. / Rhyme Time
Write each of your spelling words.
Next to each word, write a rhyming
word. If necessary, your rhyming word can be a nonsense word (as long as it follows the same spelling pattern).

Go to the website You can type in your spelling words and then print out an activity or play a game online and then have someone sign below that you did the activity.
