Each year Deland High School AFJROTC FL-023 parents give their time and talents to assist the instructors and cadets with Parent Booster Club activities and fundraising. Volunteers are critical to the success of many of the AFJROTC activities. Opportunities to help vary in the time required. Options for day, evening and weekend hours are available. Please check the volunteer position(s) you are interested in. We welcome your help in one or many areas.

  • _____AS NEEDED – You will be contacted to help on an “As Needed” basis. You choose the volunteer jobs that fit your schedule and interests. Examples include helping set up at Picnics, or pinning ribbons at parades, etc. It’s up to you what you accept to do.
  • _____Picnics – Help with set-up, organize food, clean up, etc.

  • _____Military Ball Organizing Committee – Help with planning and decorating for the Military Ball in December
  • _____Awards Ceremony – Help get awards organized for the ceremony
  • _____Dining Out – Help with planning, organizing and decorating for the dinner at the end of the year.
  • _____If you have a particular talent or connection that you would like to offer to Parent Boosters, please let us know. We are always looking for those of you that love to bake goodies, bring a dishes, are a handyman of sorts, seamstress, just a general hands on get it done kind of person. We can never have enough help. If you have professional experience that you would like to offer I am sure we can put it to good use. We are a fully operational non-profit corporation with many functions. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated. This can be anything from giving rides to cadets to helping with homework. Nothing is too small.
