Dear Parents/ Carers

New York Trip 2018 – UPDATE

We are now just one year away from the New York trip!

The flights have now been secured, the hotel booked and preparations have begun to ensure our tour is completed.

At this point in the preparations I must draw your attention to the following items:

The trip is booked through a tour operator and standard terms and conditions apply. Therefore should you withdraw from the trip now, you will likely lose any monies already paid and may be liable for the cost of the whole trip.

The payment dates are listed below; please can you ensure that you are paid to date, as each instalment secures part of the trip.

Payment Reminder

The total cost for this trip is £1150 and payments will follow the schedule below:

• Initial Deposit of £150 due Friday 1st July 2016

• Installment 1 of £200 due Friday 14th October 2016

• Installment 2 of £200 due Friday 19th February 2017

• Installment 3 of £200 due Friday 19th May 2017

• Installment 4 of £200 due Friday 22nd September 2017

• Final payment of £200 due Friday 17th November 2017

Although the final itinerary won’t be confirmed until nearer the date of the trip current details are as follows:

Flight Details

We will communicate the time of departure from school once confirmed but students must ensure that they arrive at school at least 15 minutes earlier than the departure time. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the trip if a student is late we will not be able to wait for them.

Upon our return it is essential that a parent or guardian be available to pick up your child they will not be allowed to make their own way home.

The price of this trip includes:

• Return flights between Northern Airports and New York Airport
• UK airport transfers by coach
• 1 Item of checked baggage per person & 1 Item of hand luggage per person
• 4 Nights’ accommodation on a Room Only basis
• UK Airport Assistance (Outbound Journey)
• Airport Transfers in New York
• 3x Continental Breakfasts in New York (Venue TBA)
• 3 Course Meal including Soft Drink at Ellen’s Stardust Diner
• 2 Course Meal with Drinks at Planet Hollywood (Set Menu)

• Broadway Theatre Tickets (Show TBA)
• Entrance to Empire State Building
• Ice Skating in Central Park
