Write a sentence for each vocabulary word. Make sure you use correct punctuation. Underline and spell the words correctly. / Flash Cards
Create flash cards for each of your vocabulary words. Study them for 10 minutes with a brother, sister, mom, dad, aunt, uncle, or someone available!
Synonyms and Antonyms
Write each one of your vocabulary words. Then, write a synonym AND antonym next to each word. / Cursive
Write each of your vocabulary words in your best cursive writing. / Comic Strip
Create a fun, creative comic strip using each of your vocabulary words. Make sure your comic strip makes sense and that the words are clearly visible. / Short Story
Write a short story that includes each of your vocabulary words. Make sure your story makes sense. Underline and spell each word correctly.
Spelling Choices
ABC OrderPut your spelling words in ABC order. / Practice Test
Have someone give you a practice spelling test. Give it a score and correct any mistakes. / Vowels and Consonants
Write each of your spelling words once writing the vowels in red and the consonants in any other color. / Three Times Each
Write each spelling word three times each.
Cursive
Write each spelling word once in your best cursive. / Questions
Choose 10 spelling words and use each one in a question. / Secret Agent Words
Number the alphabet from 1-26. Convert your words to a number code or any other creative code. Ex: a=1, c=3, t=20. Word is 3120=cat / Study
Study your spelling words for 10 minutes at home in any way you can. In the car, during dinner, at commercial breaks, etc.
