Good morning Karen, I always suspected that something was happening on their end since no one else was having this same problem. I will get with them again and go over the process again to make sure. Thanks for taking the time to test it, at least I know now it’s definitely not a system problem. Thanks again and have a great day.

Thank You

Hi Yancy,

I’m running testing on this process on our test system. When I create a work order from the PM schedule for unit 1606516, my work order looks like this:

I noticed on the work order in your system, M410007891, that line 10 is missing, which leads me to believe that possibly someone deleted it. I can only see what’s there now, the data indicates that the line is missing. Internally, each line is given an ofl_id. In this case, there is no ofl_id = 2, which would have been the flat rate line.

The documents M410007890, M410007891, M410007892, M410008011 all fall in this scenario.

The next scenario I tested is to clock labor and make sure it is all getting included in the flat rate line.

I clocked two different time entries, one regular, one overtime. Both are included in the flat rate when I return to the work order:

In your example M410008085, the LBR product ID is not linked to the flat rate line. In my test, the link worked properly. Is it possible that someone removed this link? Again, I can only see what’s here now, and not able to tell if it was linked before or not.

From what I can tell in my testing, the process is working as it should. This may be an issue of checking with the users to make sure nothing is getting removed from the documents. I am happy to shadow a user as needed when documents are created to ensure the process is working correctly.

One more thing, these documents are all created from the PM Schduled process, is that correct?

Let me know how you wish to proceed.

Good morning Karen, I started checking for more examples and think I found more problems.

On w/o M410007890 equipment ID 1606516 the quoted labor of 95.00 is not showing on the w/o that is open but it is set up correctly in the pm section, the same goes for w/o M410007891 equipment id 1606517, and M410007892 equipment id 1606519. These are all for the same customer American Alloy Steel.

With that said, w/o M410008095 equipment id 1606518 the quoted labor for the same customer American Alloy is showing up correctly and is set up correctly.

Now on w/o M410008011 equipment id 13229 the quoted labor is not showing up on the w/o but set up is correct.

On w/o M410008085 equipment id 1604635 is another one that not all of the labor is being included in the flat rate line like it should be.

On w/o’s M410008099 equipment id 19699 and M410008256 equipment id 19941 the labor is being included in the flat rate line like it should be.

I hope this helps with your discovery. I can’t see why this would be happening. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks again.

OK, thanks. I’ll test it and get it written up.

Is this only happening for this branch, this customer? Basically need to know if it works for others and not this one. If you have any examples of ones that work correctly, I can use that for comparison to see what the difference might be.

Karen, labor is supposed to be included in flat rate. This branch has complained with this for a while that not all labor would be included that they would have to manually do it.

When you create a work order from the PM module, does the labor usually automatically get linked to the flat rate line?

Is it possible that someone unchecked the regular time labor on this?

I’ll do some testing here, but if you could let me know, I’d appreciate it.

Good afternoon, Can you check as to why the regular time labor is not being included in the flat rate line but the overtime rate is? I checked the pm set up and include labor is checked off. This branch has had this problem before.. Thanks.
