THINGS TO KNOW FOR APPLYING

The University of Salento has an on-line application form for incoming exchange students.

The form can be accessed at

from 1 May to 30 June for the first semester or full academic year and

from 1 September to 31 October for the second semester

  • Fill in the on-line application and Learning Agreement on the web site
  • Please remember that the registration process has to be done on-line and that our University will not be able to accept any application using different procedures and forms.
  • Print and signyour application and learning agreement and send themto our Office -at first by e-mail: and then(including 2 passport photos and the copy of your ID card or passport)by Post at the address:

  • After receiving your documents and once we have checked the application form and the Learning Agreement you will receive another email confirming your acceptance at University of Salento along with useful information about your future stay here. Note that you have to let me know if you need an official Acceptance Letter
  • The Learning Agreement is the official document indicating your study programme abroad and it is of the utmost importance for us to get it before your arrival.

In order to know which courses are running at the Faculty you want to be enrolled in, you should consult the web-page of the University of Salento and then click on “Offerta Formativa” at the menu on the left and choose the Faculty:

Please note that all programmes are referred to the current academic year and that some of them may change in the next one. So you’ll have to verify, before coming to Lecce, if the coursesyou have chosen are still available. Please consider that many courses are on a semestral basis and if you are not coming for the whole academic year, you should check if the courses you indicate are running in the semester of your Erasmus study period.You cannot choose annual based courses if you are not coming for the whole academic year.
