The first word is danger.
Danger is something that can hurt you.
Let’s make a sentence using the word danger.

Serve means to work or help someone.

Yesterday we read about Farmer Ed
Do you remember what Farmer Ed did? (Encourage children to look through the pictures in the book to remember what happened in the story.)
Read the Book- Read the story with the children. Have children take turns reading each page, or have the children echo read. (The teacher reads one sentence and children repeat what was read while following the words with their fingers.)
Where did Farmer Ed grow his crops? He grew the crops on his farm.
The farm is the setting. The setting tells where the story happened.
Draw a picture about how you could help Farmer Ed. (pick fruits or vegetables, carry baskets, put baskets into a truck, etc)
Write a sentence that tells about your picture.
Give a sentence starter if needed. “I can help _____.”
Encourage children to read their sentences to each other.
