GENERAL COMPETITION INFORMATION

ARRIVAL/ TEAM MEMBERS

The participant registration entrance will be on the south side of the Sports Pavilion, at the Daily Entrance. Doors open for competitors at 9:00 A.M (This is subject to change). Please arrive as a team, as you will only be allowed inside with your coach. It is highly suggested that teams check-in a minimum of 1 hour prior to their first scheduled report time.

COACHES MEETING

There will be a coaches meeting for all all star and college coaches in the Sports Pavilion Club Room at 10:00 AM.

There will be a coaches meeting for all high school coaches in the Sports Pavilion Club Room at 1:30 PM.

INFORMATION FOR FRIENDS & FAMILY

All spectators, parents and media people will enter through the Williams Arena doors on University Avenue. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and door admission will be $10.00. (Kid’s 3 and under are free.)

BUSES

Buses can drop off on University Ave. at the bus zone (which is located on the right side of the street, across from William’s Arena on University Avenue in front of the University Avenue parking ramp). After drop off they will need to move the bus to 6th St. S.E. between 23rd and 25th Avenues. This area is on the northeast side of TCF Bank Stadium.

PARKING

Limited street parking for spectators and other participants will be available along University Ave. and 4th St. (the back side of William’s Arena). The University Avenue parking ramp and the 4th Street ramp will be open and are located adjacent to competition site. It will be $10 event parking.

MARK TIMES

Warm up check in will be in the Sports Pavilion. Following check in, there are 4 warm up stations.

All Star and College:

1st station: 2 strips of foam mat that can be used for whatever is needed.

2nd station: 60’ x 12’ spring tumble strip

3rd station: 54’ x 42’ foam mat (music allowed at this station)

4th station: 2 strips of foam mat that can be used for whatever is needed.

High School:

1st station: 2 strips of foam mat that can be used for whatever is needed.

2nd station: 60’ x 12’ foamg tumble strip

3rd station: 54’ x 42’ foam mat (music allowed at this station)

4th station: 2 strips of foam mat that can be used for whatever is needed.

Warm up check-ins will be 35 minutes prior to performance time. Music checks in Williams Arena will be from 9:00-10:00am for all star/college, and from 12:30pm-1:30pm for high school.

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS

If you are interested in staying in a hotel over the competition weekend here are a few options:

CONCESSIONS/SALES

Concession stands will be open all day for food and beverages. We will be selling 2016 Competition t-shirts for $25.00. We will also be selling miscellaneous Minnesota apparel and merchandise. Outside vendors can rent tables at the competition for $100 the day. To rent a table, please contact for more information. Vendors will need to arrive between 8:30-9:00 a.m.

AWARDS

The winning team in each division will receive division winner t-shirts. The overall highest score of the day will receive a grand champion trophy, grand champion medals and grand champion jackets. There are also various bids to national competitions that will be awarded. Awards will be given at the end of the competition. Please have your team ready for the awards ceremony. At the conclusion of your awards, you will have 5 minutes to pick up your judging sheets at the awards table.

MUSIC

There will be a 2:30 minute routine limit, with 1:30 minute music limit. Please see our sound tech if you have specific questions regarding playing music. Teams must designate a spokesperson press play during your team’s performance. Teams will be required to have music on a ipod/phone/pad.
