Traditional Teachings will take place at the Saganing Tribal Center on Wednesday, August 6th from 11 am to 1 pm.

Language Bingo will be on Thursday, August 6that Andahwod from 1 p.m. to 3 pm.

2015 “Who’s Your Caddy” Open Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday, August 8th at the Pohl Cat - shotgun starts at 9 am.

World Indigenous People’s Day will be held at Ziibiwing on Saturday, August 8th from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Honoring Fathers Family Scavenger Hunt will take place on Tuesday, August 11th from 5 pm to 7 pm - participants please meet at Nimkee Clinic.

Traditional Healer, Donnie Dowd, will be at Behavioral Health on Tuesday, August 11thfor a Men & Women’s Sweat from 5 pm to 8 pm and traditional healing on Wednesday, August 12th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call (989) 775-4850 for an appointment.

All SCIT Tribal Member Elders from all districts can enjoy Elder’s Breakfast on Wednesday, August 12th andAugust 26that Andahwod from 9 am to 10 am.

Rez Ball 2015 will take place on Wednesday, August 12th starting at noon at the Tribal Gym.

Summer Kickball Games will take place at the Broadway Pavilion on Thursday, August 13th from 4 pm to 6 pm.

The Tribal Observer deadline for the September issue is Monday, August 17that 3 pm.

The Education Department will hold a Back to School event on Tuesday, August 25th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Broadway Pavilion.

Grandmother Moon Ceremony will be held at the Behavioral Health Lodge on Friday, August 28thstarting at 7 pm.

Saganing Powwow 2016 Golf Outing will take place on Friday, September 18th. Check in is at 8 am.

Anishnaabeg Child & Family Services will is hosting an Active Parenting Class on Wednesdays in August. Times are 10 am to 12 pm or 2 pm to 4 pm.

NEW HOURS - Nimkee Clinic will provide laboratory, pharmacy and contract health services starting at 7:30 am – 5 pm M,W,T & F – OPEN until 8 pm on Tuesdays.

Ziibiwing Cultural Center is honoring warriors & their families by giving them free admission from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Mama & Baby Stroller Class will be held on Tuesdays from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Meet at the Fitness Center.

Al-Anon meetings are held every Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Behavioral Health.

Women’s Support Group meets every 3rdTuesday of the month from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at Behavioral Health. Dinner, childcare and transportation provided.

Struggling or need support? Residential Treatment Center –Behavioral Health is now offering drop-in relapse prevention groups twice a week. Mondays - 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays - 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Seventh Generation Program has a sacred fire lunch every Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm at the Elijah Elk building on the corner of Remus and Shepherd roads.

Anishinaabe Ogitchedaw Veterans Society meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Senior’s Room of Tribal Operation from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Anishinaabe Language Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 pm to 7 pm.

Lunch Bunch meets every Wednesdayfrom noon to 1 pm at the Language Center.

Enjoy Open Gym on Wednesdays at the Tribal Gym from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Women’s Traditions is held at Behavioral Health on Mondays from 5 pm to 6:30 pm.

Keyboarding and Learnkey is held on Tuesday from 2 pm to 4 pm and on Friday from 10 am to noon at the IT department.
