to carry outTheWorldOpenChampionshipin powerlifting and bench pressIPA (Pro & Amateur) in equipped and RAW divisions among men and women.
1. Goalsandobjectives:
- torevealthe strongest sportsmen of the world, Europe and Russian Federation.
- to perform classification standards.
- tofixnewrecordsof the world, Europe and Russian Federation.
- topromotepowersportsasa mass and a spectacular one among young people.
- the championship is held under the motto “Healthy people – Strong Russia!”
- to promote non-smoking and sober way of life.”

Thechampionshipisheldfrom 29thofMaytill 3dofJune 2012 inholidayhotel “Aqualoo” whichislocatedataddress: Russianfederation, KransodarTerritory, the city ofSochi, Loosettlement, Dekabristov Street 78-B (location index: 354208). Performanceandweighingschedulewillbemadeupon account of tentative applications and will be available on the official Championship site: Implementationleaders:

4. Refereeing.
The competitions are held according to the InternationalIPA Regulations;
Each team may represent a referee;
Refereesmustwear appropriate clothing(white shirt, dark or grey trousers, tie with IPA insignia, referee’sIPA badge chevron, referee’s book) and must have proper referee’s qualification.
5. Competitors:
FederatedIPAmembersfromthewholeworld (teamsorseparatecompetitors) who are over 14 years old, who have proper physical and technical background and who have had a medical areallowedtoenterthecompetitionsinagreementwithnationalfederations(who have IPA affiliation). The outfit of the competitors should be observed in accordance with the IPA Federation rules.
Thecompetitorswhoneglect the requests are not allowed to perform.
6. Weightandagecategories:
WeightandagecategoriesarewithaccordancewithinternationalIPAFederationrules.
Agecategoriesofmastershave been changed.
- masters of age 40-49 inclusive
- mastersof age 50-59 inclusive
- masters of age 60-69 inclusive
- masters of age 70-79 inclusive
- masters of age 80 or older
7. Absolute champions:
isplayedaccordingtoSchwartzandMaloneformulaamongthe following groups (as well as among men and women):
- sportsmen of age 14-19 (among sub juniors);
- sportsmen of age 20-23 (among juniors);
- sportsmen of age 24-39 (at an open age group);
- sportsmen of age 40 or older (among masters);
Incaseifaseparatedivisiongroupcontainsfewercompetitorsthan 6,awardingthewinnersof this very group won’t be held.
8. Applications:
Tentativeapplicationsfrom teams and sportsmen are OBLIGATORY. Applicationsareadmitted tillthe 5thofMay 2012; an application may also be filed on the official international website: «Application form»), or apply to address:
Thosesportsmenwhodidn’tfileanapplicationinadvancewill be taxed upon double entrance fee.
9. Entrance fee:
- Entrance fee in powerlifting and bench press at single movement amounts $90 (or 2500 russian rubles).
- SportsmenofAmateurcategories aretopay$20 (or 500 russian rubles)inadditionto provide selective doping-control.
10. Doping control:
a) During 30 minutesbeforetheperformanceendseachAmateursportsmanmustvisit the room where dopingtestismadeinordertogetacquaintedwiththelistofsportsmenwhicharetobeexaminedforrevelationofillegalforbidden medications. The listsofsportsmenwillbeputontheinformation board near the registration room.
b) Ifasportsman findshisorhername, heorshemust immediatelyvisittheroominordertopass through the doping-test. Bloodtestisattentivelywatchedbyaofficer of specimens.
Ifasportsmanbreaksatleastoneofthepointsofallsaidaboveofthepresent “Statute” orrefusestopassthetest, suchconductamountstopositiveresultofdoping-testandasaresultcausesdisqualificationofasportsman inaccordancewithRussianandInternationalPowerliftingIPAFederationregulations.
11. Awarding:
Sportsmenwhotakefirstthreeplacesateachweightoragecategorywill be awarded with medals and diplomas. ThosewhoobtainAbsoluteChampionshipwillbeawardedwithCups.
Teams-winnerswill be awarded with diplomas, Cups.
Other precious prizesarealsopossibleduetosponsorand charitable subscriptions.
Prizefundisalsoprovidedforchampions and prize-winnersin the absolute team or individual event.
12. Financing:
Travelling, accommodationandfeedingexpensesofthecompetitors, coaches, referees and spectators are taken by their organizations by which they are sent on.
