NOTIFICATIONS:-

  1. Tender queries received from Tenders and the corresponding Responses are advised as follows:

a)ANNEXURE TO THE AUSTRALIAN STANDARD GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT (AS 2124-1992) PART A – The Annexure is split in Separable Portions A and B, can you please provide details of the separable portions.

RESPONSE: The General Conditions of Contract Annexure Part A included in the original tender documents incorrectly implies Separable Portions. There are not Separable Portions in this contract. Please find attached a revised General Conditions of Contract Annexure Part A (Rev A) which supersedes the previous version. Please also note the Time for Practical Completion stated in the revised Annexure.

b)Clause 11.3 - Job Specification - Please confirm if the Contractor is to pay Portable Long Service Leave as Qleave payments for Notifiable Project is normally paid by the client.

RESPONSE: As stated in the Specification, the Contractor is required to pay the QLeave levy applicable to their Contract Value, on behalf of the Principal.

c)Clause 22.2 - Job Specification - Our site QAR is generally hands on i.e. our site foreman or other worker may also act as QAR on a part time basis. Is this arrangement acceptable to the Superintendent?

RESPONSE: Yes, it is acceptable that the QAR carries out other roles on site.

d)Due to time lost through the Christmas period we would appreciate if the client would consider an extension to the tender closing time until COB Friday 15 January 2016.

RESPONSE: The date for Lodgement of Tenders will not be extended. The closing time remains as 4pm Wednesday 6th January 2016.
