After hours of training and multiple rounds of auditions, we are excited to announce the 2015-2016 East View Band Drum Majors: Sierra Beckstrom, Justin Lands, and Erika Young.

Huge congratulations to all drum major candidates on your hard work and growth throughout the entire training and audition process. We are incredibly proud of all of you. Go East View Band!

TOPIC: CULINARY ARTS

Please congratulate the culinary team of Olivier Reedholm, Morgenne Covelli, Luis Coronel, Erik Rivera and Michele Cedeno. They competed in the culinary throw down yesterday and won best food safety, best entree and people’s choice award.

TOPIC: PROJECT GRADUATION

Attention Seniors: Did you know you can bring a guest to Project Graduation this year? Stop by our Project Graduation booth at our Cinco de Mayo celebration tonight in the cafeteria from 6-8pm for more details.

Junior and Senior Parents: We need volunteers to help make Project Graduation a success please join us at our next meeting on Tuesday May 12th at 6pm in the library. TOPIC: BOYS GOLF AT EAST VIEW HIGH SCHOOL NEXT FALL

If you are interested in trying out for the golf team next year, you must come to the office and pick up an information sheet from Mrs. Perez ASAP. The tryouts will be Monday, May 11 at Berry Creek Country Club at 4:30 p.m.

TOPIC: 2016 SENIORS

Hey there 2016 seniors… that’s right… you’re about to be 2016 seniors…and it’s time to start thinking about your senior year activities.Be a good person AND give yourself a better chance of getting a scholarship AND getting into the school of your choice AND get a silver cord to wear with your cap and gown at your 2016 graduation…

Do 50 hours of community service at two non-profit locations of your choice between June 1st and spring break of 2016. You MUST sign up to show your intent to participate in this Patriot tradition. You can get the information from your junior English teacher or pick up a packet at the diamond.

TOPIC: TENNIS CAR WASH FUNDRAISER

The Tennis program is hosting its annual spring car wash fundraiser this Saturday here in Georgetown. The car wash is free to all but the team will take donations and promise to make your baby shine. Hope to see you at Advance Auto Parts on Williams drive this Saturday from 8-1 p.m.

Also, any high school men or women interested in playing tennis next year need to get an information packet from Mrs. Perez ASAP or see Coach Kurnik for more information.
