OFFICIAL AND UNOFFICIAL REPORTS

Instructions for Producing the Official and Unofficial Workload Reports

Access the Faculty Workload report screen FWLR to identify certain criteria. Steps for producing the official report and the unofficial report are the same, except for the value entered in the field labeled “Official Schedule” in the lower right of the screen.

The following screen is provided for reference. Note the fields where there is data.




Click on File®Save. The following screen appears:


Click on File ®Save to continue.

The following screen appears:


Click on File®Save.

The following screen, which is processing the records that met the original criteria, appears.


This visual statistical representation of records being processed appears. The horizontal percentage will be updated progressively. The following screen appears once the processing of selected records is complete.


As indicated in the lower left of the screen above, hit RETURN to continue. The report has now been sent to EasySpooler, the hold area for print jobs.

The system will return you to YOUR main menu.


To release your print job to the printer, go to Easy Spooler. Enter XESP in the box labeled Mnemonic on your main menu, and click on Go.


The Easy Spooler menu appears as follows:

To release the print job to the network printer, select number 17 at the “Enter choice(s) ” prompt.


The listing of current print jobs on hold is displayed, with the latest job on the top of the list. Each user’s listing is different.

'?' for help, 'q' to quit

Read the prompts at the bottom of the screen. Change Hold Status means your job will be changed from Hold to Print by this process.

The latest print jobs are at the top of the page. Press RETURN through the listing (if the listing is multiple pages) to find the print job to release for printing on the network printer. You must RETURN through ALL pages or type "q" until the “Change Hold Status. Enter line number “ prompt appears.

Enter the number located in the left-most column associated with your username. In the sample above, user bthelen has a job with line number 8 to be printed, and would have to enter 8 at the “Enter line number” prompt, and then ENTER.

This process is now complete. Your report will be on the network printer with a banner page indicating your username.

If you are sent out to the colon, key in Q or q to quit Easy Spooler.
