Volunteer Service (unpaid)

Kenmore Club – A Psychosocial RehabilitationServiceCenter. This is a center for people coping with a mental illness. / 12 hours / Talk with and assist members of the Kenmore Club. Each of the members had a task to perform such as cooking, organizing paperwork, and writing the newsletter.
Reaching Potentials – A center that trains volunteers to be able to administer ABA therapy to autistic children. / 40 hours / I worked extensively with a seven year old severely autistic child. He could not verbally communicate nor interact with strangers. We worked on several tasks including sounds, face recognition, and life skills such as washing hands.
