The Blood of the Eternal Covenant
The Covenant was made through blood.
(This information she is referring to as if we have gone over it, used to be on a “lesson zero” DVD which they do not include anymore and it would have been shown when we gave the books out.)
God promised Adam and Eve a Redeemer. The first shedding of blood in the Bible and God is the One who shed it.
Covenant is a Progressive revelation.

Enoch (did not walk with God until he gave birth to a son named Methusaleh: When he is dead, it will come.) “It” being the flood.
Enoch walked with God AFTER he had his son. He walked by faith.
Noah: Genesis 6
Adam and Eve reproduced until there were a lot of people on this earth. Question: who did they marry? Well, they married their cousins, brothers, sisters, etc. There was no commandment at that time NOT to do this therefore there were no deformities.
Gen. 6:3, 5-6 Man’s days are now limited. God was grieved in His heart.
Gen. 6:8 But Noah found grace/favor in the eyes of the Lord. In the midst of all this wickedness, Noah was righteous.

First mention of Covenant: berith: a compact made by passing between pieces of flesh.
GOD made a covenant.
Genesis 6:22
Only those in the ark are saved.
Genesis 8:20-22 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord: Blood of the eternal covenant.
Genesis 9:1God made a covenant with Noah.
Genesis 9:9-16 The bow was a sign of the covenant. God made that covenant with Noah and ALL HIS DESCENDANTS: That’s you and me!!
Every human being. Probably all of us are descendants of Japheth.
He also made a covenant with all living creatures. “I will never again destroy the earth with water.”
Had man’s heart changed? No
Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked; who can know it?
Ham saw his father naked, but God said Canaan was cursed and he died. Ham also had another son named Cush.

Genesis 11:1-4Let us make bricks…and make a name for us lest we be scattered..
Genesis 9:1 Be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth. But man said no, let’s make a tower “who’s top is in heaven”. They were going to make a tower that worshiped the heavens rather than the Creator of the heavens.
Genesis 11:5-8Come let US go down there and confuse their language..so GOD scattered them.
This is how we have different languages on the earth.
Genesis 11:9 The LORD confused the language.
Genesis 11:16Birth of Eber and he became the father of Peleg.
Genesis 10:25Two sons..Peleg for in his days the earth was divided.
Genesis 1:9Let the waters be gathered into one place and let the dry land appear. So when God created the world, He apparently had one big body of land and one big body of water. BUT, in the days of Peleg, the earth was divided. The continents used to fit together, one land, one language. They could walk in order to “fill the earth” because the continents were all connected.
Earth: erets – same word that’s used in Genesis 1:10 – God called the dry land earth.

Genesis 10:32 ….and out of the earth the nations were separated on the earth after the flood.

Genesis 9:25-27 Blessed be the Lord – Yahweh Canaan was cursed and Shem has the truth. Blessed be the God of Shem, so God has chosen Shem.
As these three went with that knowledge of Covenant, they distorted it.
Think of New Guinea: isolated; surrounded by water, far away from Canaan.
Don Richardson: Peace Child: Sawi tribe that lived in a stone age culture until 1962. They were cannibals and they pillowed their heads at night on the skulls of their victims. Men of treachery were given the highest honor.
Taroptim: Peace Child: They exchanged children, there was a great big feast, they exchanged gifts, and they exchanged names.
They cut covenant with one another with a peace child, without whom peace is impossible. As long as those children lived, they had peace.
Jesus was God’s peace child.
The “you in me and the I in you” dance is what Don called it. He used this to show them the gospel of Jesus Christ.
God did not leave the earth without the redemptive analogies of Covenant.

Abram: leaves the Ur of the Chaldeans
Genesis 12:1-3 In you all of the families of the earth shall be blessed.
This is the gospel that God gave to Abraham.
Galatians 3:8…all the nations shall be blessed in you.
This is the eternal thread of the blood of the Covenant.
Abram was 75 and Sarai was 65 when they got the message of the Covenant.
Genesis 15:1after these things…
Canaan was wicked yet they had a witness in the land:
King of Sodom and King of Salem.
Genesis 14:18 Melchizedek King of God Most High – El Elyon
Genesis 14:19-20Melchizedek blessed Abraham and gave him a 10th of all.
Hebrews 5:10; 7:1-2 Jesus was designated a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek.The end of Melchizedek’s name means righteousness. So here is a king of righteousness living in the midst of all that iniquity.
Hebrews 7:2-3
Abraham goes to a land that knows not the truth but he finds a witness to the truth living there.
David conquered Salem and he names it Jerusalem, the city of peace.
Genesis 15:6Abraham believes God, a total committal of oneself. On that day, God cut Covenant with Abraham.
The blood of the eternal Covenant has been made known.
