We are recruiting for an experienced Tender Coordinator to work within our pre-construction team at our Stevenage based Head Office. The ideal candidate will be currently supporting a pre-construction team within a similar position and will be seeking to work with a rapidly expanding medium sized main contractor. However, full training on all duties and IT systems will be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of several tenders and all associated document control. You will be supporting a team of estimators and the bid writing team, ensuring that the documentation is completed and submitted accurately and in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities and experience will include:

Co-ordination of specific tender documentation and managing the flow of required information

Liaising with client representatives, estimators, directors, bid writers, project managers, subcontractors andexternal consultants

Input and management of all incoming drawings/documents onto company EDMS to ensure accurate records for the internal and external tendering teams

On-going document control; ensuring that all tender clarifications and addendums are distributed internally andexternal suppliers and updated on the EDMS

Issue subcontractor pricing enquiries and addressing all subsequent queries with the estimating team

Compile final submission documents in collaboration with the bid and estimating team

Conduct printing, photocopying and general administration duties as required

Required skills and experience:

Construction sector support experience – ideally at least 1 year

Ability to understand tender documentation, prelims and submission requirements

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Organisation and attention to detail

Confident and eager to learn

Comfortable working to strict deadlines

Team player

Strong administrative and IT skills
