Be respectful to others and yourself. /

Specific steps of Lesson Plan (Include lesson format, activities, and details):

  • August 26, there will be a code of conduct assembly to review bus expectations, rules and procedures with students.
  • The Assistant Principal will have students role model positive behaviors the first week of school before the bus leaves campus in the afternoon. Have students restate the expectations that would address the following concerns: talking too loud, moving around the bus/changing seats, standing up, throwing things on the bus and pushing others in line to the bus.
  • January 9, 2017, administration will conduct behavior assembly to restate bus expectations. Read book “Manners on the School Bus” by Amanda Doering Tourville.

Lesson Plan is documented in classroom plans AND master calendar (include multiple and ongoing entry dates)

  • Quarterly, the Assistant Principal will board each bus and review bus expectations. (November 7, 2016, January, 9, 2017, and April 10, 2017
