The dates for the 5th graders to take MSA Science have been moved to Monday, April 7th and Tuesday, April 8th. This change was made due to missed instructional time due to the weather and testing.
Support Staff Recognition
FCPS Support Staff Employee of the Year Award- Nominations are being accepted for a deserving support staffmembers from Emmitsburg Elementary School. Nomination forms are available at The deadline for submission is Monday, April 14, 2014.
Catoctin Feeder Community Meeting
FCPS’ Family and Community Engagement Council (FCEC) will be hosting a community meeting at Catoctin High School on Tuesday, April 8 from 7-9 p.m. The goal of the meeting is to gather feedback from parents, families and community members about FCPS communication and community engagement.
SECAC Membership Drive
The Frederick County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC) is an active group of Frederick County citizens committed to evaluating local special education services and advising the FCPS Office of Special Education and Psychological Services, as well as the Frederick County Board of Education on ways to improve the performance and achievement of children with disabilities. They are looking for members. More information can be located in the school office.
