§  Build the PDF

s  After clicking the “Build the PDF” button, you will click the link to take you back to your Author Main Menu, to the “Author approve submission” link. When the PDF is built, you will need to view it to ensure the files have loaded correctly, that you have not left Track Changes in the documents, and that the files are in the right order.

s  Click on the “Ethics in Publication” link in the far right column and read this statement. Then check the “I agree” box and click the “Approve submission” link in the far left column.

o  Submitting a revision

§  The first six submission steps are the same, and the system will retain the information from your original submission. You will not need to re-enter you title, authors, abstract, etc., unless you would like to make changes.

§  In the seventh step, “Additional Information,” you will need to re-enter your answers.

§  In the last step, “Attach Files,” you will see a screen that shows you all of your original documents. You may choose to retain those documents that did not require revision. After choosing these documents, click the “next” button, and you will see the file upload screen. In the drop-down menu, you will now see “A1 Response to Reviewers.” This requires that you upload a response to the reviewers in text or table format.

§  After uploading your revised files, you will again build your PDF, accept the Ethics in Publishing statement, and view and approve your PDF.
