Stanwood Police Blotter 08-18-2017

On 08-11-2017, In the 27000 block of 78th Ave NW, a 96 year old Stanwood male reported fraudulent activity on his bank account.

On 08-11-2017, Police responded to a priority assault call in the 8800 block of Viking Way. The suspect was a 33 year old Camano Island male. When police arrived the male exited the building yelling at Police. They asked him to put his hands behind his back and he refused, he then took off on foot. Police chased and detained the male. There was no probable cause for a crime but the male was transported to the hospital for a Mental Health Evaluation.

On 08-11-2017, Police were dispatched to a civil complaint in the 27000 block of 102nd Ave NW. The verbal dispute was over the couple’s one year-old child in common. No crime occurred

On 08-13-2017, A verbal altercation occurred in the 26000 block of 72nd Ave NW. The altercation was between a 30 year old male and 23 year old female that are in a dating relationship. No crime occurred.

On 08-13-2017, A 47 year old Stanwood male was arrested in the 7900 block of Port Susan Place for Domestic Violence Assault after an altercation with three of his family members.

On 08-14-2017, Police were dispatched to a tip that there was a reported runaway in an apartment in the 27000 block of 72nd Ave NW. The 15 year old Marysville male was located and placed into a patrol car to be returned to his guardian. It was later discovered that the male had a warrant. He was placed under arrest then transported to the Denny Youth Center.

On 08-14-2017, A 200lb fifth wheel hitch was reported stolen from the 9900 block of 270th St NW.

On 08-14-2017, A 19 year old Camano Island male reported that his vehicle was vandalized in the 26000 block of 72nd Ave nw.

On 08-16-2017, A female attempted to fill a counterfeit prescription at the Pharmacy in the 26000 block of 72nd Ave NW. Ongoing investigation.
