Solo/Duo/Trio Information & Contract 2017-2018
Requirements:
· All dancers must be approved for a solo/duo/trio.
· Solos/duos/trios must be performed at the Next Level in Jan. in order to compete during this dance compete season. Solos/duos prepared after Next Level, will need to wait until Sept. 2018 dance season.
· Some of the larger competitions limit the number of solos from each studio. To select the soloists for those events, we will hold solo auditions.
· It’s your responsibility to remember the choreography, not the choreographers. We recommend videoing after each lesson.
· Email your music to Misty, no later than Dec. 1.
Studio Fee: Dancers may pay a studio rental fee of $50. This fee enables you to use the studio for 10 hours of rehearsal time. If you need additional time you may pay at the rate of $10/hr or another $50 for 10 hours. We will keep track of rehearsal times by dancer however we recommend you keep a time log as well to avoid incurring additional rental charges.
Studio Schedule: Please reserve studio time at least 24 hrs. in advanced through Tamra at or 208-830-4741. If you don’t receive permission, you are not allowed to use the studio. With over 70 dance classes taking place each week, extra team rehearsals, other solos/duos who are rehearsing, and cleaning crews, pre scheduling is mandatory. You might be available to rehearse last minute but it does not mean that you have permission to use the studio, unless you are added to the calendar. If your schedule changes, please cancel your reserved time or you will be charged the $10/hr studio rental fee.
Studio Key Card: The soloist’s parent may check out a key card. A $100 deposit is required. When the key card is returned to us in May, we’ll return your deposit. If the key card is lost, we will keep your deposit. Please make your undated check out to Dance Unlimited and write "Key Deposit" on the bottom of the check AND do not date the check. Only parents are to have the key card. If we find your key card in the possession of your dancer (in her dance bag, etc.) we will ask you to return the key card.
Adult Supervision: All soloists must have an adult with them when they rehearse their solos at the studio during non-business hours. The choreographer serves as the adult. When the choreographer isn't available for rehearsal, another adult (18+) must be present in the studio if the rehearsal is during non-business/dance class hours.
Studio Care: Please use the studio as you found it. All lights need to be turned off prior to leaving. Please do not adjust the thermostats as they are programed according to our class schedules. All doors must be locked if you are the last to leave. Failure to comply with lock up procedures may result in your $100 key card check being deposit and studio usage privileges revokes.

Please remove from the contract to turn in and keep the remaining contract for yourself. I have read and agree to the terms listed, including:
A. I must email my music to Misty by Dec. 1.
B. I must contact the studio at least 24 hrs. in advance, to schedule studio rehearsal time.
C. I will submit a $50 studio rental check.
D. I will submit an undated $100 key card deposit & agree that only the dancer’s parent will be in possession of the keycard.
