IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 8TH GRADERS:The window to request an intradistrict transfer is January 15- February 15. If you are thinking about attending a high school other than your high school of residence you must apply for an intradistrict transfer. If you do not fillout the paperwork within the time line you will not likely receive the transfer. See Mrs. Slick if you have a question.
MENU CHANGE: February Menu- On Thursday’s the cafeteria will be having orange chicken instead of sweet & sour chicken –Ms. Flint
6TH GRADE SOCCER INTERMURALS:Get your teams together and be at the captains meeting in Miss. Kats room, E-6 on Monday February 5th. 7 players per team including the team captain. Grab your lunch and head to E-6, See you on the 5th.
MUSEUMS FOR FREE ON SUNDAY 01.28.18:Museums Free-for-All is partnering with Metro, encouraging visitors to Go Metro to explore participating museums, many of which are a short walk from Metro bus or rail stops. Experience a day of art and culture without traffic and plan ahead of time on metro.net. Go to to see all the museums that are taking part.

FOOTBALL DECORATING CONTEST: In recognition of the upcoming Super Bowl, there will be a football helmet decorating contest in the library. Come get a paper helmet and decorate with your favorite team’s logo. Contest will end Wednesday, January 31stand winners announced on Friday, February 2nd.
BLITZ FLAG FOOTBALL: Come grab a flyer at the student center to learn about their youth sports program details on how to sign up on flyer.
HARKINS MOVIE TICKETS: PTSA is selling Harkins movie tickets every Thursday before and after school to help support music and drama boosters. Tickets are $8. Sales will take place at the east entrance gate between the main office and basketball courts.
