Student Lateness to School
Please be sure to come in to school and sign your child in at the office when they are late. Also, students must bring in an excuse of absence note when they return to school after being absent – please be sure to include the date of absence.

Pumpkin Festival Ticket Contest
Your children may have noticed a poster hanging in the cafeteria. All of the classes are listed for a little contest that we are running with the advance ticket sales. Ticket order form is available on the website homepage.
As we receive ticket orders, they will be recorded on the chart. On Friday, October 18 the class with the most ticket sales will receive a little treat to enjoy at the pumpkin festival, which takes place on October 19. Please contact Monica Cox at if you have any questions.
Sign-Up Genius
Keep your eye out in the next couple weeks for an email from Sign-up Genius to sign up to volunteer at the Pumpkin Festival which is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19th. If you do not receive an email, please contact Laura Yeakle at .
Cougar Mall
The first order of the year is upon us. Please consider purchasing scrip to support our school. Simply fill out the order form found in this weeks communication envelope and return it to school with either check or cash payment. All checks should be made out to Culbertson PTO. All orders are due by Tuesday, October 1st. IF YOU SHOP AT ACME, this is a great time to buy. Acme is currently offering a 1% bonus on all cards, giving us a 5% return instead of 4%. Birthday Book Club
We are excited to announce the return of the Birthday Book Club! If you are interested in donating a brand new book to our school library in your child's honor, return the order form (available on the website homepage) and payment by October 1. Please contact Monica Cox with any questions.
Kidstuff
Each family has received a Kidstuff coupon book. Flip through it to see the variety of savings! Our school earns $12.50 from each book that we sell! Target has extended their "Give with Target" program until September 30. To cast your vote, simply go to givewith.target.com. Type in William Culbertson as the school and our zip code (19073). Place your vote---it takes less than a minute! We have over $100 so far, and will earn more as we collect more votes.
You may also wish to register for a Target Red Card. By selecting Culbertson Elementary, our school earns 1% from all purchases.
