Blockley

Comparatively little is currently known of the archaeological potential of much of Blockley. The village has a medieval origin, and archaeological evidence of activity of this date can be expected in the core of the settlement, in the Conservation Area, where a large number of historic buildings are listed. To the southeast of the village, centered on Park Farm, is extensive archaeological evidence of medieval and earlier activity.
