EV CLUB MEETINGS

EAST VIEW BAND

Band is selling chrome "EV" logo car emblems for $15.If anyone is interested in purchasing one of these emblems to show your East View school spirit around Georgetown, they are available in the band hall and at the Diamond.

CONTEST WINNERS

Ms. Jarcy's 3A child guidance class won the "Hope After the Hurricane" contest? Thank the school for raising almost $600 to be donated to hurricane victims.

THE RUBY SLIPPER

We will be having our 2nd Annual Kendra Scott Fundraiser onFriday, Sept29thfrom5-7 pmin the East View Library. This year, we'll even have a RAFFLE for a chance to win some FREE Kendra Scott jewelry. It's the same night as the East View vs. Georgetown Volleyball Game, so go support our lady Patriots, then come and buy some amazing jewelry and support the East View Ruby Slipper! We have completed the Ruby Slipper clothes drive. Due to a lower need then expected here at East View, everything was donated to an organization providing clothing for people that were displaced due to the hurricane. Thank you for all the donations.

JACK FROST CITIZEN OF THE MONTH

Attention Seniors Applications are being accepted for the Jack Frost Citizen of the Month. Pick up your application in Mrs. Ray's room (208) or Mrs.Stephens’s room (318). A senior boy and girl are selected each month.

THE LOCKER

The Locker will be hosting FREE haircuts by professional hair stylists for all students on Wednesday September 20th in the cafeteria from 4 to 8. ALL GISD students are welcome to come get a haircut.

SENIORS

GISD is hosting a Senior Night Parent and Student informational on Thursday, Sept 21st, from6:00 – 8:00 pm, at East View’s cafeteria. This is a unique opportunity for seniors and their parents to receive important information and insight into both the college application and the FAFSA process.

TO ALL STUDENTS

GISD will host a College Fair Night on Tuesday Sept 26that East View High School’s cafeteria, from6:00 to 8:00 pm. Meet college reps from Colleges, Universities, Trade schools, Academies, Military Branches and more. Register atGOTOCOLLEGEFAIRS.COMto streamline the college fair circuit. When you register you will receive a bar code that will allow you to share information with select schools electronically as you visit with college reps.
