Duties and Responsibilities

Job responsibility as Health & Safety professional;

  • Ensuring compliance of Company and Clients’ Health & Safety Policy on the Project.
  • Coordinating with Project Head and Construction Manager for ensuring adequate safety covered on the site.
  • Monitoring site activities on daily basis, issuing non-compliance and submitting reports to Project head.
  • Review, Report & Recommend action to correct safety violations.
  • Perform random safety patrols of job sites. Conduct weekly Safety Inspections.
  • Attend weekly construction meeting with consultant and conducting meeting with project staff and sub – contractor for close outs and improvement of safe working procedures.
  • Conduct Accident investigations and review of method statement and risk assessment.
  • Planning & conducting Monthly Safety Meeting, Inspection and Audits; coordinating with Safety advisers and Site First Aid Clinic.
  • Identifying “unsafe” areas and arranging for corrective actions.
  • Maintaining all types of Health, Safety & Environmental information & records including training.
  • Identify & organising safety training including Emergency Evacuation.
  • Evaluating need & placing orders for specified safety equipments.
