Rush Chemistry Addendum Part 1

The following errors were fixed in the reprinted hardback, reprinted February 2006.

Dustflap – “Neal Peart” – should read Neil Peart

Page 23 – the picture says “The line-up with Lindy Young” – it is not Lindy Young in the picture, it is Mitch Bossi.

Page 33 – repeats the phrase “working man offers a grunge-filled climax, simple and highly effective, a call to arms”

Page 37 – modified text at request of Ira Blacker

Page 43 – “the latter was managed by Ira Blacker.” Ira wasn’t the manager, he was the tour agent.

Page 42 – “The date is 16th August 1974….venue is Civic Arena, Pittsburg…” should read 14th August 1974, which was a Wednesday

Page 141 – “When the ‘Presto’ tour came to a close at the end of June 1989″ – this should read June 1990.

Page 176 – The notes section is missing.

Page 256 – Justin, not Adrian Zivojinovich is Alex and Charlene’s first son.

Page 268 – The text “ which links to a number of fan sites, not the least the Counterparts website” was of course supposed to be the Power Windows website

Rush Chemistry Addendum Part 2

The following errors will be fixed in the paperback reprint

Page 50 – “On 27th June” – should read 25th June.

Page 89 – “than ab year” – should read “than a year”

Page 115 – Mentions Geddy working on Ken Ramm's Euphoria in 1985, but Euphoria was actually released in 1999, this is discussed on page 180.
Page 123 – Andrew MacNaughtan does not join the tour until ‘Presto’ (Page 141)

Page 147 – “seventeen years to the day” – it was not to the day, as the debut album was released in March 1974.
Page 164 – the middle paragraph is out of place, discussing The Dexters where the surrounding paragraphs are discussing Victor. It would fit better on the previous page.

Page 167 – “late summer of 1996” – this should be 1995

Page 169 – “late autumn of 1996” – this should be 1995

Page 182 – “finally released on 24 October 2000” – should read 14th November 2000

Page 173 – a track on Test For Echo is listed as "The Color of Night" – should read “The Color of Right”

Page 195 – There was no Barcelona date

Page 253 – “Getty” should, of course, be “Geddy”

Page 262 – the first track on ‘Presto’ was “Show don’t Tell – 5:02”

Other comments:

  • over-use of the term “at least”
