Hospitality Towards Guests

  • Greets guests either with a 'Hello' or 'Good-Bye'
  • Keep noise to a minimum in corridors.
  • Honor any Do-Not-Disturb sign on door. Contact Head Housekeeper at noon for further instructions.
  • Keep hallway uncluttered and neat looking, including keeping cart in front of guest room door .

Cooperation with Supervisors / Managers

  • Bag, tag and turn in all lost and found items immediately to Supervisor.
  • Obtain work list from Supervisor.
  • Make minor repairs as instructed.
  • Performs other tasks and assignments as requested.

Cooperation with Co-workers

  • Keep all storage areas neat.
  • Clean vacuum cleaner and change bag at the end of day.
  • Remove all trash from carts at end of the day and disposes of properly. Keep carts clean and well maintained.

  • Fill out maintenance repair orders properly. Report all maintenance problems to Supervisor.
  • Assist with the energy management program. Leaving lights off after room is clean and leaving heater/air conditioner on appropriate setting.
