-Show children a range of objects: hoops, balls, scarves, beanbags, quoits, etc.

-Discuss how to send an object to your partner that they can receive: towards partner, suitable speed, partner in ‘ready position’
-Practice sending and receiving different objects
- Challenge: how many passes can you make in 1 minute?
-Repeat stretches from warm up / -Warm up: find a space and get into the ‘ready position’
-Alphabet game: curled and stretched
-Lay out a number of hoops in a designated space
-In pairs, move around the space, bouncing the ball in a hoop for your partner to receive
-Challenge: how many bounce passes can you make without hitting the rim of a hoop?
-Repeat with a different partner
-Repeat using a different type of ball
-Ask children which was easiest and why?
-Cool down by creating curled and stretched shapes / -Warm up ‘Body Game’ with ball, then repeated without
-Practice dribbling the ball
-Dribble to a cone and then stop the ball – how did you do it?
-Set up ‘gates’ using cones, how many can you go through in a minute?
-Get the children in pairs
-Pass the ball to your partner using your feet
-Ask the children how they completed the pass?
-How many passes can you and your partner make?
-Discuss control, power, speed, etc.
-Cool down using football to stretch / -Warm up ‘Body Game’ with ball
-In groups of 3/4/5, pass the ball to one another
-Use spots/cones to create a shape (square, triangle, rectangle, pentagon) and then pass the ball around the around
-Challenge: still in shapes, first child passes the ball, then runs around the outside of the shape to see if they can beat the ball back
-Play ‘keep the ball’: all children have a ball and dribble in a designated area. Children have to keep their ball whilst trying to kick the other balls out of the area / -2 v 1 competition
