Project Title: IV Tube Organizer

Date: 9/30/03 – 10/6/03

Problem Statement:

Currently the numerous amounts of IV tubing required for pediatric patients causes confusion in lines and places the patient at risk for injury. The goal of this project is to create an IV tubing organizer to prevent “spaghetti” while maintaining the functionality of an IV tube.

Restatement of Team Goals:

  1. Continue brainstorming design possibilities
  2. Compose preliminary report to be proofread on 10/3
  3. Prepare for mid-semester presentations/reports on 10/10

Summary of Team Accomplishments:

  1. Compiled progress report for large team and sent to advisor
  2. Completed preliminary reports for proofreading
  3. Began finalizing mid-semester reports
  4. Continued updating notebooks
  5. Client notified team communicator with regards with his attendance on 10/10
