Participants will be able to utilize the knowledge gained to understand the relationship between proactive aggression and bullying, sexual harassment and dating violence. Participants will be able to use specific strategies and programs to lead interventions into aggressive bullying, and further the development of empathy among the youth they work with in schools and other areas.
Training Participants will:
- Examine recent research on definitions, signs and symptoms of school bullying;
- Understand the relationship between bullying, sexual harassment and dating violence;
- Learn to implement specific strategies to promote the development of empathy among proactive bullies and aggressors.
- Identify specific strategies for intervention in bullying behavior by aggressive youth and bullies
this training program has been approved for 3.5 ce credits through coraservices as follows:
CORA Services is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for Psychologists. CORA Services maintains responsibility for the program and its content.
The PA Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors has approved the credit hours for this conference.
CORA Services has been approved byNBCCas an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP-Provider #5802. Programs that do not quality for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CORA Services is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Certificates of attendance will be awarded to participants who attend the entire workshop and complete the evaluation form. Partial credits will not be awarded. Late arrival or early departure will preclude awarding of CE credits.
Credits fees are $10 for each category of credits requested through CORA.
