Post Title:Finance and Admin Officer

Location:Morley

Salary:£16,857 - £18,041 per annum, pro-rata (plus travel expenses and pension contribution)

Purpose of post

  • To coordinate and manage day to day finance and general admin support for the organisation’s staff team.
  • To assist colleagues in the pursuit of the organisation’s objectives and contribute to the on-going development of its work.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Finance support
  2. Processing day-to-day finance requests including raising purchase orders and invoices.
  3. Maintaining customer and supplier records.
  4. Answering internal and external finance queries.
  5. To assist the Finance Manager with processing payroll when required.
  6. To assist the Finance Manager with credit control procedures.
  7. To assist the Finance Manager in reporting financial management information.
  8. Front of house
  9. Be the first point of contact for enquiries to the organisation (meeting visitors, handling incoming telephone enquiries and directing them to the appropriate member of the team).
  10. Manage incoming correspondence to the organisation and distribute as required.
  11. Administration and programme support
  12. Data entry and maintenance of online portals where required.
  13. To support on specific administration tasks in line with specific projects and programmes as directed by other staff members.

3.3. Assist with the organisation and administration of events in conjunction with other staff members.

3.4. To prepare relevant packs/manuals/handouts/delegate lists and evaluations for events and meetings.

3.5. To assist other officers with the administration and organisation of meetings where required.
