Early Years Qualification (NVQ, Diploma, Degree or HND Advanced) / X
Previous experience of working in a social work setting or with vulnerable children & families / X
KNOWLEDGE
An understanding of the charitable/voluntary sector/local government / X
Public & private law relating to children i.e
Children’s rights, Working knowledge of children Act 1989, Adoption & Children Act 2002, Children & Families Act 2014 / X
Effects of child neglect, trauma, sexual, physical & emotional abuse / X
Understanding of attachment & associated effects of early childhood deprivation & neglect / X
Racial awareness & understanding of the importance of a child’s identity within the context of their race, culture & life experiences / X
