Please try and answer the following questions, to ensure we provide you with a comprehensive response to your enquiry.

Roof or Wall Mounted Solar Panels

Will the the solar PV or solar thermal equipment protrude more than 200 millimetres beyond the plane of the wall or the roof slope when measured from the perpendicular (right angles) with the external surface of the wall or roof slope?
Will the highest part of the solar PV or solar thermal equipment be higher than the highest part of the roof (excluding any chimney)?
Is your property in a Conservation Area, or in a World Heritage Site and are the panels to be fitted on the principal or side elevation walls and are they visible from the highway? If panels are to be fitted to a building in your garden or grounds are they be visible from the highway?

Standalone Solar Panels

Will the standlone solar panels be higher than four metres?
Will the standlone solar panels be at least 5m from boundaries?
Will the size of array bebigger then 9 sq.m or 3m wide and 3m deep?
Is the property a listed building ?
Is the the land in a conservation area and will the standalone solar panel be visible from the highway ?
Will there be more than one stand alone solar installation ?
