Tour of the Course
This tutorial will give you a general tour of your course.After you log in and select your course from the My Home page, you will be taken the Course Home page.

This is the News window. Check this window each day for announcements, news, and assignments from your teacher.Updated News will appear at the top of the list. Older News items will appear farther down the list.

This is the Events window. It is similar to the course calendar. Check this window for due dates and pacing for your course.

This is the Updates window. Check this to see if you have new Email messages, if there are new postings in the Discussions section, or if there are assessments in the Quizzes section to take.

The links you will use to navigate from one tool to another in your course are generally in the this black menu bar.

Select the Content link.

The Content link is where your lessons and assignments appear. Unread items appear in bold print.Click on a link to view the file.

Select the Discussions link.

To ask a general question about course content or course deadlines or to participate in class discussions, select the Discussions link.

Select the Dropbox link.

Your teacher may ask you to submit your assignments in the Dropbox area. On this page there are a list of folders. Select the folder to upload your assignment file and submit it to your teacher for grading.

Select the Quizzes link.

Your teacher may ask you to complete a quiz or exam that will be automatically graded. To find these quizzes or exams, select Quizzes link. Quizzes that are due soon will be visible.Once you select a quiz, you must complete it. If you select a quiz and exit the quiz without completing it your grade will be a zero.

Select the Classlist link.

Use the Classlist link to find the email addresses of your classmates and teacher.You can also use this page to check your work groups and to view a detailed page on your course progress.

Select the Grades link.

The Grades link will allow you to see a list of your grades.

To return to the course's home page select the Course Home link.
