PAY ADJUSTMENT TYPES

Pay Adjustment Type / Definition
Call In Pay / Used when an authorized non-exempt employee who is required to be on call for emergencies is called in outside of their scheduled shift. Enter number of hours.
FMLA - Paid Sick / Manager will be notified by Assoc HR to use this type when an employee is eligible for FMLA and has paid sick days available to use.
FMLA - PTO / Manager will be notified by Assoc HR to use this type when an employee is eligible for FMLA and has PTO days available to use.
FMLA - Unpaid / Manager will be notified by Assoc HR to use this type when an employee is eligible for FMLA and has does not have paid time off available to use.
Full Time - Medical Leave Bank / Unused paid sick days at the end of a calendar year are carried over. These paid days in the Medical Leave Bank are available after exhausting the current sick day allowance of 5 days. Use this to record a paid day from the bank.
Full Time - PTO / Used to record an unplanned PTO day on the timesheet. This is an exception, PTO should be requested in advance through TAFW.
Full Time - Sick / Used to record an unplanned paid sick day.
Full Time - Unpaid Time Off / Used to record unpaid time off for full time staff only after all paid days have been used.
Military Leave / Used to record military leave when called to active duty.
No Call No Show / Used to record unexcused absence with no call to manager.
Other - Bereavement / Used to record paid bereavement days as per policy.
Other - Jury Duty / Used to record paid jury duty days as per policy.
Part Time - Unpaid Sick / Used to record unpaid sick days for part-time staff.
Part Time - Unpaid Vacation / Used to record unplanned absences only - unpaid vacations should be requested in advance through TAFW.
Salaried - Holiday Earned / Used ONLY when an exempt employee is required to work on a paid holiday because the branch is open. Must be earned in half (4hrs) or whole (8 hrs) days.
Salaried - Holiday Taken / Exempt staff use this to record a previously recorded Holiday Earned day. May not be used before the day is earned.
Snow Day Paid / Used as per policy
Snow Day Unpaid / Used as per policy
Training/Meeting - Exempt Only / Used to record hours spent in training and meetings for exempt staff ONLY.
