Partnership (Limited Partnerships) Regulations 2003

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe fees payable under the Partnership Act 1958.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 80 of the Partnership Act 1958.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 28 July 2003.

4.Definition

In these Regulations—

"the Act" means the Partnership Act 1958.

5.Fees required to accompany statements

For the purposes of section 79B of the Act, the following fees are prescribed—

Reg. 5(a) amendedby S.R. No. 88/2004 reg.4(Sch. 1 item30.1(a)).

(a)a statement of application for registration as a limited partnership under section 54 of the Act must be accompanied by the fee of 50 fee units;

Reg. 5(b) amendedby S.R. No. 88/2004 reg.4(Sch. 1 item30.1(b)).

(b)a statement notifying a change of registered particulars of a limited partnership under section 56 of the Act must be accompanied by the fee of 7fee units;

Reg. 5(c) amendedby S.R. No. 88/2004 reg.4(Sch. 1 item30.1(a)).

(c)a statement notifying the dissolution or cessation of a limited partnership under section 72 of the Act must be accompanied by the fee of 7fee units.

6.Fee for inspection

The fee for an inspection of the Register under section 57 of the Act is 3 fee units.

7.Fee for supply of certificate

An application for the supply of a certificate under section 58(2) of the Act must be accompanied by the fee of 5 fee units.

1.General Information

The Partnership (Limited Partnerships) Regulations 2003, S.R.No.91/2003 were made on 22 July 2003 by the Governor in Council under section80 of the Partnership Act 1958, No.6330/1958 and came into operation on 28July 2003.

The Partnership (Limited Partnerships) Regulations 2003 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 22 July 2013 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).
