PAPER TITLE

I. Introduction

The language used for manuscript is English. These guidelines include complete descriptions on how to write the paper. Just replace the headings and the text with your work and arrange the material accordingly. PLEASE DO NOT RE-ADJUST THESE MARGINS and don’t put page numbers.

II. Type Style and Fonts

Use Calibri/Times New Roman with font size 10 for the txt and secondary headings and font size 11 for headings. The headings should be in BOLD. If Calibri/Times New Roman is not available on your word processor, please use the font closest in appearance to Calibri/Times New Roman.

III. Ease of Use

The given template is used to format your paper and style the text. All margins, column widths, line spaces, and text fonts are properly arranged; please do not alter them. The detailed measurements, font sizes, fonts, paragraph spacing and other arrangements are intentional. This is done to assure that all the papers conform to same rules and regulations.

IV. Prepare Your Paper Before Styling

Prepare the write up, equations, figures and graphics in separate text files and graphics/image folder. Keep your text and graphic files separate until the text has been formatted and styled. Finally, complete the content and organizational editing before formatting. Please take note of the following items when proofreading.

A.  Abbreviations and Acronyms (Heading 2)

If you intend to use abbreviations and acronyms, define them the first time, they are used in the text. Abbreviations in the title or heads are not to be used.

B.  Units

§  Use SI as primary units.

§  Use a zero before decimal points: “0.25”, not “.25”.

§  Use “cm3”, not “cc”.

C.  Equations

Write the equations in Calibri/Times New Roman or in a font similar to it. For multileveled equations, treat the equation as a graphic and insert it into the text after your paper is styled.

V. Using the Template

Use this template for writing your paper. Once, you are done, duplicate the template file by using the command, Save As and then save your paper as IJRMDS_Your first name.

A.  Identify the Headings

Headings always guide the readers through your paper and provide the necessary flow of the write-up. There are two types: component heads and text heads.

Component heads identify the different components of your paper. The template has already arranged the headings and subheadings for you. Use them accordingly.

It is very important that the arranged headings provide a flow in your write up. The reader should not feel disoriented or observe any breaks up in the writings. The main heading should be in capital letters and the sub topics should start with capital letters for the important portions. Further, use roman numerals for main headings and for sub-headings use capital alphabets. The same has been illustrated in the template.

B.  Figures and Tables

Figure and table captions should appear above them. Insert figures and tables after they are cited in the text. If the citation is in the beginning of the sentence, use “Figure 1” and for other positions use, “Fig 1”. The font size of the captions should be 10. However, for any description (very brief) below the figure, use a font size of 8.

Use 8 point Calibri/Times New Roman for figure AND table labels. The figure-axis labels should be done properly to avoid confusing the reader. For example, write the quantity, “Weight” AND not just “W”. Please, do not label axes only with units. .For example, write “Weight (Kg)”, not “ Weight/Kg”.
