Then click on career planning, click on explore careers.

Design a brochure or a power point about this occupation. The following information must be included in your brochure:

Title Panel:

The name of the occupation, name of student, class name, name of the teacher, and a clip art or photo that fits nicely with the profession.

Headings – Detailed rubric on 2nd page.

Name of occupation and Description

Job duties: Describe their responsibilities and job duties on a daily basis.

Working outlook: Describe the areas that will have the best demand for the career.

Pay-job outlook-Potential earnings national, state and local.

Education & Skills

 Training and possible courses that could help with that potential career choice

Components of Powerpoint Rubric

Slides Needed:

1-Title page (this needs the career, your name, Course: Principles of Marketing, class period, and the date)

2-Job Description & picture of the job (meaning a picture of someone doing the job or something relating to the job)

  1. minimum of a 5 sentence paragraph.

3-Job Tasks or responsibilities

  1. (What you do on the job, an average day on the job, minimum of 6 bullets describing tasks)

4-Educational Requirements

  1. What training or education will you need for that career

5-Educational Requirements

  1. What schools would you like to attend. Describe (2)with Images

6-Skills needed

  1. What are the everyday skills that are needed on the job

7-Pay Outlook & Work Outlook (starting salary, average salary, how much you make)

  1. Include the average range for your occupation. This is an average not an exact amount.
  2. Include the areas of the country for potential growth.

8-Pictures of the job

  1. Include 5 pictures of the job or people doing the job.

9- Your personality style you receive on the gacollege 411 career assessment. Your opinion of the assessment you took as to its accuracy and success of your career results

10- Bibliography (put what websites you got your information from…just cut and

paste the web address of the sites you used)

You can add more pictures, graphics and such to your PowerPoint. Some hints though, if you add background pictures, make sure you can still read the typing that is on the slide.You can add more slides as you see fit to make your PowerPoint better, more informative, and more creative…just remember that they must relate to the career that you picked.
