SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL

Dr. Tod F. Kline, Superintendent

Mr. Keith Still, Principal

______

Dear Parent/Guardian of a Susquehanna Township High School Class of 2015 Graduate,

Class dues are past due. The senior class dues are $30 per student. Please pay class dues with a check made payable to the STHS Class of 2015, and place it in the box in the High School’s Main Office. Also, for accurate record keeping, print your child’s name on the memo line of the check so a payment receipt can be made and given to each student. This process will ensure that both the school and the parent have a record of paid class dues. If not already paid, your payment must be received in the High School’s Main Office immediately. If class dues are not paid, an obligation will be turned into the office and graduation caps and gowns will not be distributed to your child until the dues are paid. Students may not participate in the graduation ceremony without a cap and gown.

Those who have made arrangements for handicapped access through the ticketing request, senior chorus, and band members will receive separate designated parking and entry instructions. If prior arrangements for handicapped are not made when requesting tickets, handicapped parking and seating via elevator will still be available but will be unreserved.

Graduation is a ceremony of dignity. We expect each of our graduates to behave in a respectful manner in front of their parents, relatives, friends and faculty. Appropriate conduct from every member of our audience is also required. When your child’s name is announced we ask that you hold your applause to allow the next child’s family to hear their name announced. There will be time allotted at the end of the Announcement of Graduates for applause and celebration. During the ceremony we ask that you uphold the level of decorum we have become accustomed to by being silent. Decorations such as balloons, confetti, signs, etc. are forbidden at the ceremony.

Attached you will find instructions on obtaining graduation tickets. Also attached you will find the Senior Contract which needs to be returned to the High School Main Office by Friday, May 29.

Thank you for your support in graduation preparation. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at (717) 657-5117. I look forward to working with the Class of 2015 during this very exciting time.

Sincerely,

Mr. Keith Still
