How to Submit YourThesis?
Submission Process:
Submit yourthesis to the IEAS Library(Main Bldg. room 101) to TárnokDávidnébefore the applicable deadline in
1 printed (spiral bound) copy, and make certain you also upload a write-protected version of it to EgyetemiDigitálisAchívum(DEA)[University Digital Archives – TárnokDávidnéEszter will help you with the uploading]. The form called plágium-nyilatkozat [Plagiarism Declaration from ieas.unideb.hu] must constitute a part of the thesis: a signed copy must be scanned and attached either to the beginning or to the end of your thesis (or it may be uploaded as a separate file to DEA).
One copy of the thesis must be submitted to your supervisor in a form(at) specified by him/her.
Registration for the State Exam:
1. Register by completing and submitting the form „Végzőshallgatóknyilatkozata” [Declaration of Graduation Year Students] downloaded from the Faculty of Humanities website, even if you just wish to take the State Examand will not receive your diploma yet (cf. BTK TanulmányiOsztály).
Precondition for the State Exam:
Your grade book (index) or verified pre-degree certificate must be submitted to TanulmányiOsztály[Registrar’s Office of the Dean of Studies] at least 2 weeks before the State Exam date,complete with:
–ALL YOUR GRADES REGISTERED IN THE NEPTUN SYSTEM (AND IN YOUR GRADE BOOK, IF YOU HAVE ONE),
–THE GRADE YOU HAVE RECEIVED FOR YOUR THESIS REGISTERED.
–YOU MUST ALSO SUBMIT TO THE REGISTRAR’S OFFICE OF THE FACULTY OF HUMANITIES THE CERTIFICATE OF HAVING UPLOADED YOUR THESIS TO THE ELECTRONIC SYSTEM OF DEA (issued in IEAS Library by TárnokDávidné [Main Bld. room 101]).
–YOU MUST ALSO HAVE A CERTIFICATE OF HAVING COMPLETED THE REQUIREMENTS/COURSES OF YOUR MAJOR, ISSUED BY THE IEAS OFFICE. (Download “Chart for checking your credits” from ieas.unideb.hu/Downloads/for students+ have your Grade Book or verified pre-degree certificate ready).
–YOU CAN NOT TAKE THE STATE EXAM WITHOUT A COMPLETED GRADE BOOK AND MINUTES OF THE STATE EXAM.
