7. / Publicity/Engagement
Sweatshirts donated
Artwork for banners agreed and Parish Clerk will be requested to order in time for markets.
To maintain communication of information about the Neighbourhood Plan we need to continue to take advantage of and attend with as many of the Neighbourhood Plan Group and the Parish Council as possible:-
Monthly Saturday market in Village HallSeptember
October
Weekly Wednesday morning market where there is a fund raising coffee group as well as various stalls
During consultation period we suggest two meetings, one an evening on a weekday and the second on a Sunday. In addition there will be an open period that Hamilton Baillie will offer. For these public occasions we will need publicity and display materials, maps copies of Framework document, Summary and Questionnaire and displays and attendance of as many of the group to ensure availability for questions.
The Parish Clerk to book the venues for the consultation meetings for a weekend (ideally Sunday) afternoon and a weekday (ideally Tuesday) evening in October around the week 3rd to 10th to co-incide with meeting for Hamilton Baillee.
Press coverage, suggestion that we write some editorial to send to the three most read local papers, North Devon Journal, Okehampton Times and Crediton Courier. Also notifying them of the public consultation dates to encourage as much public information as possible. / WM/ano
