In today’s Liturgy of the Word :

1st Reading : In the Bible the image of Shepherd –King is often found. We do not naturally combine the humility of a shepherd with the stature of a King but this is God’s Way 2nd Reading : Death, the bible insists, is the result of sin. But life has been opened to us all through Christ, who knew no sin and who overcame death. Gospel : Our Lord and King has told us that there will a final exam at the end of this life. But, in his compassion, he has also told us what will be on the paper! “What you did to others, you did to me”
