Was it a miracle or just perfect timing?

The Bible speaks of many miracles that were performed by Jesus and the disciples. From changing water to wine, to making a blind man see. The list goes on and on. But what about in these times now… where’s the miracles? What are some of today’s miracles?

If you ask any recovering addict if they were blessed by a miracle to have gained sobriety most will tell you “most definitely yes. God did for me what I couldn’t do for myself”.

Ask a Vet if he believes in God or where he began to pray like never before and he’ll tell you while he was under fire.

Our God is a merciful God.

He’s a loving God.

He’s a God who loves us unconditionally now and forever more.

In Psalms 91, we are told about his unabiding love for us.

1. We live within the shadow of the Almighty, sheltered by the God who is above all gods.

2. This I declare, that he alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I am trusting him.

3. For he rescues you from every trap, and protects you from the fatal plague.

4. He will shield you with his wings! They will shelter you. His faithful promises are your armor.

5. Now you don't need to be afraid of the dark any more, nor fear the dangers of the day;

  1. nor dread the plagues of darkness, nor disasters in the morning.

How awesome is this statement! WE don’t have to be afraid if we trust God with all our heart body and soul.

Those who’ve been in battles will know the meaning of this statement….

7. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

When we put our faith and trust in God …..

10. There shall be no evil that befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

  1. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

It’s only when we ourselves get in God’s way do we dash our foot upon the stones, we make our dilemmas at times. And when we do who do we call upon to help us out of the mess that we ourselves have brought before us? God of course. And because he cares so much for us, he sends his angles to guide and watch over us. To steer us in the right directions, and instill upon our spirits a newness of love for him once again.

15. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.

  1. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

We show him by our praises, our songs, and our lives. Lifting up his name and calling upon he that is above all in public places and speaking of the great things that our Lord and Savior has done for us that no man here on earth could ever thing of doing.

Today look around you and really look for the good that is around you. Take a mental note of the things you have in your life today and give thanks to the one who’s been there to ensure you have what you have. For what God giveth, God can take away in an instant, just as any parent will take away the treasures of a child who does not listen to them.
