N.C.P.A. STAR ROSETTES will be awarded in classes3, 5, 8, 25, 29, 38, 43, 52, 56 & 60.Exhibitors must enter the ring wearing their N.C.P.A. Badge and present their current Membership Card to the Judge.

N.C.P.A. REGISTER ROSETTES will be awarded to the highest placed N.C.P.A. registered pony in classes1, 7, 8, 9, 10, 24, 30, 43,52 & 63.It is a condition of entry that the pony’s NCPA registered number is quoted on the entry form.Pink cards to be produced in the ring. Red armband to be worn

This Show is a Qualifier for the 2017N.C.P.A. Pony of the Year Show and the Part Bred Welsh Ridden Championships to be held in conjunction with the Pony of the Year Show at Warren Farm Equestrian Centre, Formby, Lancashire L37 0AN on Sunday 3rd September 2017. First, second and third prizewinners in appropriate classes will qualify and highest not qualified in the first six for Part Bred Welsh in appropriate classes.ALL champions and reserve champions at any NCPA Branch Show will receive a GOLDEN TICKET to qualify for the Golden Supreme Championships to be held at the Pony of the Year Show. Entry for the championships is FREE however competitors MUST be members of the NCPA and ENTER AT LEAST one other class at the championships. Prize money at the final is: 1st £500, 2nd £300, 3rd £100, 4th £50, 5th £25 and £25 for each supreme.

This Show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (“B.S.P.S.”), and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in B.S.P.S. classes, whether or not members of the B.S.P.S. are subject to the Rules of the B.S.P.S, including the disciplinary procedures, and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S.

This Show is a qualifier for the 2017B.S.P.S Classic Security UK LTD Challenge. The following will qualify Lead Rein, First Ridden, Lead Rein of Hunter Type, Open Show Pony, Open Show Hunter Pony, Nursery Stakes, Open Working Hunter Pony, the Open Intermediate SRT, SH, WH and Heritage classes. The highest placed pony that has not qualified for the 2017Horse of the Year Show in the appropriate class will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified for the BSPS Challenge the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. If after qualifying for the Challenge a pony qualifies for HOYS it will forfeit its qualification for the “BSPS Challenge”. Animals may qualify for both the Blue Riband of the Year and the Challenge, but must select which competition they compete in at the B.S.P.S. Championships show. They may not compete in the same class in the BSPS Challenge & the Blue Riband of the Year. Cradle Stakes & Lead Rein of Hunter type. The highest placed pony that has not qualified for the BSPS Challenge will qualify if the highest placed pony has already qualified the qualification will go to the next eligible pony. The final will be held at the B.S.P.S. Summer Championships Show.

This Show is a qualifier for the 2016 “B.S.P.S Premier League”, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th placed ponies in the Lead Rein and First Ridden, Mixed Height Show Pony, Lead Rein Hunter Type, Mixed Height Show Hunter Pony, Nursery Stakes, Mixed Height Working Hunter Pony, Intermediate Show Riding and Show Hunter, Working Hunter and Heritage classes.

This Show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.S Champion of Champions, the Champion Mini Show Pony, the Champion Mini WHP, the Champion Open Show Pony, the Champion Open WHP/WH, and the Champion Open SHP will qualify.

The first placed ponies in the Heritage Open Mountain and Moorland Classes will qualify for the B.S.P.S “Industrial Salt Supplies” WOW FACTOR (“Winner of Winners”) at the B.S.P.S Summer Championships

This Show is a qualifier for the 2017B.S.P.S Black Country Saddles Best Rider of the Year. The Best Rider in the Open Lead Rein, First Ridden, Open Lead Rein Hunter Type, Mixed Height Show Pony, Mixed Height SHP, the Cradle and Nursery Stakes, Mixed Height WHP, the Intermediate Show Riding Type and Show Hunter, Working Hunter and Heritage classes will receive a Card and qualify for the final at the B.S.P.S Summer Championships Show.

This Show is a qualifier for the 2017 B.S.P.S. Championships Show, to be held at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincs. The 1st and 2nd prize winners only in the following classes Lead Rein & First Ridden and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners in the Open Intermediate S.R.T. (including Mixed Height) W.H. and S.H.T. and C.S, and Heritage classes will qualify. In MIXED HEIGHT CLASSES the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th placed ponies will qualify for the B.S.P.S. Championships Show, provided the animal is registered in accordance with Rules 23 and 28 and ridden by a BSPS member.

This Show is affiliated to the 2017 Equifest Showing Show, taking place at the East of England Showground on the 9th– 13thAugust 2017.Qualification cards will no longer be sent to the Show Secretary. Instead it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to havea qualification card before entering the show and getting this signed by either the Judge, Steward or Show Secretary at the time of qualification. Qualification cards will be sent out free of charge to exhibitors on request. Equifest qualifier classes also carry a dual qualification with Ponies (UK) Championships. This Show is a qualifier for the Blue Chip & Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) £2000 Challenge. The final will be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show on Saturday 18th – Sunday 20th August 2017 at Arena UK, Allington, Grantham, Lincolnshire NG32 2EF

This Show is a qualifier for the Cherif Championship 2017. Open to registered Anglo and Part-bred Arab stallions, mares and geldings, four years old and over, any height. All Part-bred Arabs must contain the minimum 12.5% Arab blood. Novice classes or those mixed with Pure bred Arabs are not eligible for Cherif Championship qualification. The final will be held at the Cherif Championship Show, Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Addington, Bucks, on 13th September 2017. This show is a qualifier for 15+ Horse & Pony Events To qualify for the 2017 National Showing Championship Show at Equifest, Peterborough the first, second and third place horse/pony in the following classes – Class 13 In Hand Veteran and Class 19 Ridden Veteran will each receive a Qualification Card. To enter the National Showing Championship Show the rider/handler and horse/pony must register with 15+Horse and Pony Events within 21days of the qualifying show date. This Show is a Qualifier for the 2016 NPS Area 4 Northern Breeders Championships to be held at the NPS Area 4 North of England Show on Monday 29th August 2016. The champion and reserve champion in the Mountain and Moorland Supreme In Hand championship will qualify.

This show is a qualifier for the 2017 TSR Riders/In Hand Regional Championships. Qualify and enter ANY of the Regional Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You do not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of TSR Riders Champs - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSR In Hand Champs - The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website. Full details at

This show is affiliated to the SHB of Great Britain. Rules as per the 2017 handbook. Owners & riders have to be current SHB(GB) members in all ridden classes. The organisers of the show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health & Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the Officials & Stewards.

RIHS qualifying classes – Classes 14, 15 & 68are qualifying classes for the RIHS 2017 and only horses registered on the 2017 register are eligible to enter. Novice Working Hunter Rules state not to have won a total of £100 or 5 BE Points or 200 BS Points.

Day Ticket = £30 (this entitles competitors to compete at a maximum of 1 show in the year – it covers owner and rider membership together with horse registration for that show). If the class is a qualifying class for RIHS, in order for the qualification to be valid, application for full owner/rider membership and horse registration must be received in the SHB(GB) office within 14 days.

ALL COMPETITORS MUST wear Correctly secured Skull Caps/Riding Hats that meet one of the following current Safety Standards:

All PAS 015; VG1; ASTM F1163 04a onwards; SNELL E2001; AS/NZS 3838 2003 onwards. It is mandatory for competitors under the age of 18 to wear such skull caps or hats. In the jumping phase of working hunter classes the aforementioned skull caps/riding hats must be worn.

Working hunter. Open to mares, geldings, stallions (must wear red, white & blue ribbon in tail) 4yrs old & over exceeding 148cms to be judged in accordance with SHB of GB rules. Grade A show-jumpers & Advanced Event horses not eligible to compete in these classes. The maximum total points available is 100. This is made up of: Jumping points = Max 40 points, Style & Presence whilst Jumping = Max 20 points, Ride/Manners = Max 20 points, Conformation = max 20 points.

AMATEUR STATUS: A person is an amateur for showing purposes when showing ridden hunters if she or he does not:

a) Engage in livery, buying, selling, dealing or hiring horses as a means of deriving a main source of income since 1st January 2015.

b) Accept remuneration whether it be monetary or goods in kind for employment in connection with horses in a racing, showing, livery stables or riding school. (Instruction at Pony Club or Riding Clubs excepted) since 1st January 2015.

c) Show a horse owned or sponsored by a company or commercial form or a horse for which his or her immediate family accepts livery or training charges from a person outside the immediate concern since 1st January 2015.

d) Show a horse which a professional rider has ridden in any ridden hunter or ridden Sport Horse class during the current year, with the exception of working hunter classes & ladies hunter classes unless the horse has subsequently re-registered under new ownership.

e) Show a horse which is exhibited by a professional rider at the same show (except in a working hunter class on the same day).

f) An amateur working hunter may not be ridden by a professional rider in a working hunter class on the same day.

Professional show persons may not enter the Amateur ring whilst the class is in progress. A professional show person is another termfor a professional producer and as such a professional groom who works for a producer can enter the ring to groom.

g) A professional rider must not ride or exercise an amateur’s horse on the day it is competing in amateur classes.

ROYAL INTERNATIONALHORSE SHOW (“RIHS”)

The Society designates certain Shows as qualifying shows for the RIHS at which horses may qualify for the RIHS in the current year or at specific shows for the following year. At these Shows the two highest placed horses in the Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight, Small and Ladies (side saddle) Classes will qualify to enter at the RIHS. No horse lower than second will qualify. In the Working Hunter class the three highest placed horses will qualify. No horse lower than third will qualify. If there is a Working Hunter Championship made up of the first and second prize winners from the light and heavyweight working hunter classes respectively, these four horses will qualify for RIHS unless they have already done so. Where there is only one amateur ridden hunter class the two highest placed smalls, the two highest placed lightweights, the two highest placed middleweights and the two highest placed heavyweights will qualify. When there are two classes, in the lightweight section, the two highest placed smalls and the two highest placed lightweights will qualify and in the heavyweight section the two highest placed middleweights and the two highest placed heavyweights will qualify.

NORTH OF ENGLAND 2017SUMMER £1000 CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIERS

This show is a Qualifier for the 2017North of England Summer £1000 Championships Shows held at Arena UK, Grantham on Saturday 1st July 2017(North of England Horse Show) and Saturday 8th July 2017 (North of England Pony Show) and Sunday 9th July 2017 (North of England Mountain & Moorland Show).

The Champion and Reserve ChampionAnglo/Part-bred will qualify for the “June Horsefall” Supreme Ridden Part Bred & Anglo Arab Championship to on Saturday 8th July 2017. Only the champion and the reserve champion will qualify.

The Champion Ridden M&M will qualify for the “Torne Valley” M&M Championship on Sunday 9th July 2017. If the Champion has already qualified the Reserve champion will qualify.

The Mini M&M Champion will qualify for the “Colosso Family“Supreme Mini Pony Championship on Sunday 9th July 2017. If the Champion has qualified then the Reserve Champion will go qualify.

The Open Show Hunter Pony winner will qualify for the “” Michaela Wood” Supreme Ridden Pony

Championship on Saturday8th July 2017. If the winner has qualified then the qualification will pass to the 2nd

prize winner. Only the 1st or 2nd prize winner will qualify.

The Lead Rein of Hunter Type winner will qualify for the “Colosso “Supreme Mini Pony Championship

on Saturday 8thJuly 2017 at the North of England Summer Pony Show. If the winner has qualified then the

qualification will pass to the 2nd prize winner. Only the 1st or 2nd prize winner will qualify.
