The Indian capital market has witnessed fundamental changes during the past two decades, which were aimed at improving price discovery efficiency and transparency, market wide liquidity and depth, reducing transaction cost and information asymmetry in the market and helping market participants to attain their portfolio objective(s). As a result of the reform process, the focus of academic research concerning Indian capital market has changed considerably during the past few years.

The conference is aimed at providing a common platform to academicians, practitioners and policy makers where they can interact and share their experiences and research findings. The conference invites unpublished empirical research papers on following themes:

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract of about 200 words with four keywords and JEL Classification should be sent to
  • The final paper should be submitted in electronic format (MS Word / PDF format) at Papers previously published or currently under review by other publications need not be submitted.
  • All submissions are subject to double blind review process.
  • Contributions should be restricted to one paper per individual as the first author.
  • The accepted papers will be considered for publication by Journal of Applied Finance; ICFAI Press and Publishing India’s International Journal Banking Risk & Insurance.

Review, Acceptance & Award

  • Paper submitted to the Conference will be reviewed through double blind review process. Outstanding paper awards of Rs. 5000/- each will be given to 3 best papers presented at the Conference.

  • Academic Delegation – Rs. 1000/- per participant
  • Industry/Corporate Delegation – Rs. 2000/- per participant
  • Student Delegation – Rs. 500/- per participant
