Brief description of what is required for each position on the Committee.
PRESIDENT: To oversee the running of the Club, run orderly meetings and cast the final vote if required.
VICE PRESIDENT: To assist the President and help any other members of the committee. In the absence of the President, oversee Club matters.
SECRETARY: To record and store all documentation and correspondence to and from the Club. Liaise with the Association on all matters and record/publish minutes of committee meetings.
TREASURER: To keep true and correct records of all financial transactions for the Club. Present the financial position at each Committee meeting and AGM.
ASSOCIATION DELEGATE: Attend all Association meetings (Monthly) and inform the Club of all necessary information as our representative. Vote on behalf of the Club when required at Association meetings.
REGISTRATION SECRETARY: To collect membership monies from all players and officials of the Club. Register every player and official of the Club with the Casey Association and keep track of all financial transactions.
PUBLIC OFFICER: Lodge the Annual Return with Consumer Affairs. Ensure that the AGM is held yearly, that the financial statements are presented by the Treasurer and then provided to the Public Officer. Also deal with any matters relating to our Incorporation & Constitution.
UNIFORM CO-ORDINATOR: Organise the sale of Club Uniforms (Tops, Pants, Shorts, Socks, Hats & Jackets). Liaise with the Uniform suppliers on Price and Orders. Collect monies for all orders and pass funds onto the Treasurer.
SCORERS CO-ORDINATOR: Support all Club Scorers in their weekly scoring duties and liaise with the Association Scorers Co-ordinator on any issues relating to Scoring (e.g. Scorers courses).
COACHES CO-ORDINATOR: Support all Club Coaches in their weekly Coaching duties and co-ordinate our Annual Junior Training night. Liaise with the Association Coaches Co-ordinator on any issues relating to Coaching (e.g. Coaching courses).
UMPIRES CO-ORDINATOR: Organise weekly Rosters for each timeslot that the Club participates in and allocate an umpire for Plate or Line duties. Liaise with the Association Umpires co-ordinator each week for new rosters and any issues relating to umpiring.
CLUB HISTORIAN: To investigate Club history and look at ways to build an historical picture/story on the Narre Warren Softball Club. (e.g. Life Membership, Team Results each season, Club Service Awards, Honour Boards, Player information).
GENERAL COMMITTEE: To help where needed around the Club.
NOTE: All Committee positions are expected to attend Committee meetings on a regular basis.
