Please practice the skills on this sheet as much as possible throughout the week. These are the skills your child will be focusing on in their classroom and small group lessons with me. They will be assessed on these skills at the end of the week. Any highlighted items indicate a modified amount that your child will be assessed on.   • using subtraction notation (=, -, =) to represent addition and subtraction situations, and to represent doubling
  • solving addition and subtraction (as removal) story problems
  • Franco and Kira went to the aquarium. Franco counted 12 blue fish. Kira counted 13 yellow fish. How many fish did they count altogether? 12 + 13 = ____
  • 25 students were sitting at the lunch table. 8 of them went to get a school lunch. How many students are still sitting at the table? 25 – 8 = ____
