Teacher Comments
Welcome to first grade!! I will send home a monthly calendar to inform you of what we are learning in our class. Please note that this calendar is subject to change as we adjust our days. I have sent home information on Dolch words and Accelerated Reader (AR). Please work with your child on these words and read with them nightly! Encourage your child to read independently while you listen. We are also starting spelling test next week. I will put new spelling words in your child’s folder every Monday. If you ever have any questions please feel free to ask! We are off to a great year!!! Thank you, Mrs. Andreas (Calendar can also be found on-line)
