Open Church
Last year the Church was open on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2pm – 4pm. This proved popular with visitors and volunteers and so the plan is to do it again this year. A blank rota sheet is on the table at the back of Church, please sign up for slots if you can.
Family Fun Day
The next fundraising and social event takes place on the 7th June, where there will be the annual opportunity for our Teddy Bears to be adventurous with the zip-wire from the tower. Certificates provided to all successful jumpers. We are pleased to be working with the Unlock a Life for Lockey team, together there will be stalls and family activities on the Green. Drinks and light refreshments will be available, but we hope that families and visitors will bring a picnic to eat on the Green and enjoy the whole day. Don’t forget to put this date in your diary now!
Churchwarden
Due to an unexpected and unfortunate change of circumstances, it is necessary to elect a new churchwarden. Nomination papers are available on the table at the back of Church and the meeting to elect our new Churchwarden will take place at 11am on Sunday 15th June.
